CREATE / MAKE / PERFORM workshops are intended to provide meaningful art experiences for adults 60 + and to support the mastery of theater skills, personal creativity, and social engagement. Workshops sessions frequently draw on personal memories, family history, and remembrance.

CREATE/MAKE/PERFORM is a pilot program of the Finnish Heritage Museum. There is no expectation for participants to have any direct connection to Finnish culture to participate and benefit from the workshops and activities.
The funding comes from the Ohio Arts Council’s (OAC) Creative Aging Ohio (CAO) Initiative. The museum joins 18 other organizations participating in a learning cohort dedicated to creating hands-on arts experiences tailored to the needs and interests of older adults. |
